Encrypting user data
MoreLive 2026-10-13 (Alpha 7.49): Hollowkeep Vault (files and names locked in the browser), locked mail storage with your own PGP key (made in the browser or pasted), stronger password hashes, sealed two-factor secrets. Off-server backups go only to Proton Drive, already end-to-end encrypted.

Hollowkeep
PureRef boards in Hollowkeep
MoreLive since Alpha 7.43: opening a PureRef board (.pur) in Hollowkeep shows the whole board as a picture, drawn on the server by PureRef itself right after upload.
PureRef's format is closed and its license forbids reverse engineering, so the server runs the real PureRef in a locked-down container without network to draw each board once. The picture is kept apart from people's files and doesn't count toward their space. A board that can't be drawn falls back to a PNG with the same name in the folder.

Phone landscape layout
MoreOn phones held sideways and other short screens the header is one slim row and the side list opens from a button, so the content gets about twice the height. Live since Alpha 7.40.
On a phone turned sideways the header and the tool's name share one 44px row, and the side list (files, chats, worlds) slides in from the list button instead of taking a third of the width.
The Sketchmere board, the Fableknot script and Scrollforge also keep most of the screen, and the landing menu stays in view on a low desktop window.

Landing fold as one movement
MoreLive since Alpha 7.20: folding and unfolding the tools on the landing page is one quick movement, drawer edge, fold button, search field, footer and tool buttons together in under half a second.
The fold used to play as two movements: the buttons glided for most of a second and the drawer's edge moved on its own at the end, while on phones the drawer's sides jumped into place when it was over. Now everything leaves together and lands together on one timing curve, with the buttons stretching along their path and settling as they land.
Only transforms, fades and one clip on the glass are animated, so phones do no layout work during the move. Nothing stored changes; the page works offline as before.

Pin chats and groups
MorePin any chat or group chat: pinned chats sit at the top of the chat list, and on phones the first bottom-bar button opens a drawer with Pinned and Recent. Pins follow your account. Live since Alpha 7.12 in Whisperglass and Sketchmere.
You would be able to pin a chat or a group chat in the Whisperglass sidebar so it stays at the top of the list however many newer chats appear. It is meant for the few conversations you return to all the time. It is picked and will be built once Sebastian gives the go.

Search everything from the Command Sheet
MoreLive since Alpha 7.8: Ctrl K and the header search find Worldquill pages, documents, stories and boards, Hollowkeep file and folder names and Whisperglass chat titles as you type, with the open world first. Worldquill and Hollowkeep answer from a search index that is rebuilt from the data whenever needed.
Today the sheet's search filters the tools and their descriptions, and Recent shows the tools and pages you opened lately in this browser.
This step would ask each tool for matching items as you type (chat titles, file and folder names, wiki page titles) and list them under their tool, opening the item directly. Only things you may open would show.
Sebastian, 2026-10-13: search everything all the time, rank this world higher, and make it work across all tools and pages. Each tool needs a search source; chats stored in the browser are the hard part.

AI
Ask blocks
MoreLive since Alpha 7.4: when an AI in any chat needs input it asks with buttons, lists and short forms inside the chat box, and your tap goes back as your next message.
Agents end an answer with a small question block that the chat draws as buttons, a multi-select list or a short form, always with a field for your own answer. It works in Whisperglass (group chats too), Scrollforge chats, pages, scheduled tasks and Work. A scheduled task that cannot decide leaves its question waiting and your answer is kept in its notes for the next run. Offline, your pick is kept and sent when you are back.

Add PDFs from your files to a separate Library tab and read them as books. Each book shows its first page, and reopening it continues where you left off.
Books are links, so removing one from the Library never touches the file. PDFs shared with you can be added too, and your reading position is yours alone.

Offline first
MoreLive since Alpha 7.0: every tool opens without a connection, Hollowkeep files kept on the device, Fableknot stories and Worldquill pages can be edited offline and are saved when back online, Sketchmere boards open to look at. Nothing is overwritten or erased.
The website itself works offline before any phone or Windows app is decided.
Every tool's page opens without a connection. In Hollowkeep you choose Keep on this device; Fableknot stories and Worldquill pages you opened are kept by themselves. What you write offline waits on the device and is saved once you are back online. If someone changed the same thing meanwhile, both versions are kept.
Deleted files, pages, stories and boards and every earlier version are kept on the server instead of erased.

Tap the microphone beside Send and talk; your words appear in the message box so you can fix them before sending. It uses your browser's own speech recognition where there is one. In other browsers, or if you choose to keep voice on your device, a small speech model runs on your device (a one-time download of about 60 MB) and your audio never leaves it.
It listens in English, German, French or Spanish, following the site language.

Sketchmere
Unreal blockout export
MoreLive since Alpha 7.1: export a Sketchmere frame as a zip with a script that builds floors, walls with doorway gaps and an actor per stamp in Unreal. Not yet tried in Unreal itself.
A Sketchmere frame can be exported for Unreal. The zip holds the rooms, doorways and stamps in Unreal's centimetres and a small Python script. Run in the editor, the script builds floors, walls with gaps for doorways and one actor per stamp. Running it again after you change the sketch moves and adds what it built and only deletes after asking.

Files open in the Hollowkeep preview with orbit, pan and zoom, wireframe, textures on or off, a grid with the model's size, animation playback and fullscreen. Neighbour files such as OBJ materials and textures are found in the same folder. The viewer only reads: stored files are never changed or converted, nothing is saved from it and nothing extra counts toward your space. Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D and SketchUp files show a note to export GLB or FBX. CAD files (STEP, IGES, BREP) and links from Worldquill and Sketchmere come in later steps.

A model from Hollowkeep is linked into a world like a Word file: it stays in Hollowkeep, is listed with the world's documents and shows in the same 3D viewer, always as the file is now. Taking it out of the world leaves the file alone. Neighbour files such as OBJ textures are not picked up there yet.

Worldquill usability
MoreLive since Alpha 7.10, finished in 7.15: a world overview, a side rail with outline and link previews, writing the page itself, pages under other pages with a folding sidebar, a game design note layout, and one list for pages, Word files and PDFs with a markup list.
Worldquill reads and writes like a wiki now: the world page opens with where you left off and what is still to write, pages show an outline and the pages they link to and from, a link shows a small preview, and writing shows links as chips with a page picker. Pages can sit under other pages, the sidebar folds into a tree or a rail of icons, and unsaved text is kept on the device. Game design notes show a status, open questions and decisions, and a PDF lists its notes beside the pages. The phone bottom bar and search across all tools are separate steps in their own threads.

This is a proposal for how the AI runs once people share their computers. When you ask the AI something, it would first use your own computer if the Mindhearth app is running there, then the computer of another member who is sharing, and finally the small AI built into your browser. Chat folders and drag ordering
MoreChats sorted into groups in the sidebar and reordered by dragging.

Invite links
MoreSingle-use links that let someone sign up without waiting for approval.

Private chats on every device
MoreYour own chats are saved on the server and follow you to every device.
Your own chats are saved on the server instead of only in one browser. When you sign in on a different phone or computer, your chats are there too. Chats you start there are saved the same way.
